My own private air show

This immature bald eagle is probably around 1-2 years old. I stood just underneath him about 40 feet away. He just stared at me and would bob his head back and forth. His siblings flew away, but he hung in there with me for this photo shoot. :)

I need to invest in a lovely 400-600 mm zoom lens. These photos would have been 1000x better, but STILL! I'm pretty happy with the shots I caught!

There are just no words for seeing these birds up close like this.

There were some great shots from today. I caught one young eagle with a fish. Have you ever seen a fish in a tree? Well, look closely and you'll see one! LOL!
